Exciting opportunity for a MESSAGING ENGINEER to provide FIRST CLASS SUPPORT while ensuring 99.99% service availability for a Global leader in the INVESTMENT ARENA. You will take full responsibility of planning, implementing and delivering new technologies while managing the current MESSAGING PLATFORMS GLOBALLY. This organization is very well known for delivering WORLD CLASS FINANCIAL PRODUCTS. 

This MESSAGING ENGINEER position is Johannesburg (Sandton) based and paying up to R650k/annum 

THE COMPANY:
Operating for over 20 years, this INTERNATIONAL FinTech organization is listed on the NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE. This leading Investment Management Organization has recently opened offices in South Africa and they are looking to grow their Global IT Team. Join a NEW team and get the opportunity to support MESSAGING TECHNOLOGIES and PLATFORMS on a global scale. 

THE ROLE:
This position requires a TECHNICALLY SAVVY INDIVIDUAL who has a keen interest in working with the latest technologies in order to provide WORLD CLASS SUPPORT. You will provide MICROSOFT LYNC and EXCHANGE technical project assistance, along with planning and delivering of new technologies to the support the global operations. You will be responsible for identifying gaps and resolving effectively to ensure the highest levels of service is maintained. In this position you will also act as a TEAM LEAD, providing guidance to junior members and be the senior point of contact for any escalations by the operation teams. 

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience supporting Exchange, Microsoft Lync & Messaging based technologies and platformsSolid understanding of Networks & InfrastructureEmail Security – ProofpointSymantec Enterprise VaultAirwatch MDMActive Directory experience – Multi-forestExperience with Configuration and Management Tools - SCOMPowerShell experienceTeam Lead Experience is highly advantageous as you will be the senior point of contact for escalation by your operations team for support tickets and problem tickets when required.Identify gaps and resolve effectively; including the Business/Disaster Recovery program.If you qualify for this role, please email your CV directly to:
