Job Summary
Tekkie Town is offering a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a experienced, self-motivated, high achieving IT Field Technician for our branches in Gauteng.
The main purpose of this position is to configure, maintain and support various technical, database, email, in store security systems, computer hardware and networks (LAN and WAN); and to offer IT Retail and Technical support to the stores.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12Fluent in English and or Afrikaans (written & verbal)A+ and N+ certification is a MUSTMust be able to work overtime according to overtime / standby rosterMust be willing and flexible to work overtime occasionally on short noticeMust be able to spend time away from home and travel to storesMust have a valid drivers license with reliable vehicleClean ITC and no criminal recordGood working track record with contactable reference numbersIT in the retail industry would be beneficial
Advantageous:
ICDL Certification, alternatively, MS Office CertificationNational diploma of BSc in Information Technology will be advantageousShould candidate meet company requirements after four month probation a company vehicle with company petrol card will be issued to successful candidate which will only be used for company working purposes (not personal use)
